Rates & Fee Guide
Transparent fee guidance for Poplar Core pricing and profitability consultations. Fixed-scope engagements with no hidden retainers.
Our fees reflect the depth of analysis required, not the size of your revenue. Every engagement is quoted in writing before work begins.
Pricing & Profitability Review
Flagship engagement for businesses with multiple product or service lines. Includes on-site or remote discovery, margin modelling, written report with recommended price changes, and a 60-minute findings presentation.
Typical timeline: 3–4 weeks from signed agreement to final report.
Margin Analysis Session
A focused half-day working session for owners who need clarity on one product category, job type, or service tier. Includes preparatory review of your cost inputs and a summary memo with three to five specific adjustments.
Duration: 4 hours including breaks.
Cash Flow Assessment
Examines the relationship between your pricing, payment terms, and working capital needs. Suitable for businesses experiencing growth-related cash pressure despite healthy revenue.
Deliverable: Written assessment with cash timing recommendations.
What affects your quote
Several factors influence the final fee within the ranges above:
- Number of revenue streams — a café with dine-in, catering, and retail merchandise requires more line-by-line analysis than a single-service plumbing business.
- Quality of existing records — we can work with rough figures, but disorganised job costing may add preparatory time.
- Travel — engagements outside Sydney metro incur travel at cost, quoted before confirmation.
- Urgency — requests with less than ten business days’ notice may attract a scheduling premium.
Payment terms
A 50% deposit secures your engagement date. The balance is due on delivery of the final report or session summary. We accept bank transfer; card payment can be arranged on request.
What is not included
Our fees cover analysis and written recommendations. Implementation — updating your POS, reprinting menus, training staff on new rates — remains your responsibility. We can recommend contractors for specific tasks but do not markup third-party services.
